The "Golden Hour" is our absolute favorite time of day in the flower field. Which got us to thinking — let’s share the beauty of evenings in the u-pick field with all our flower friends!
The cut-your-own flower field generally closes at 5 pm, but for one evening only on Friday, August 2 — during the peak of the blooms — we’re inviting you to the 3rd Annual Golden Hour U-Pick & Picnic farm gathering. Join us from 5:00 - 8 pm for an evening filled with flowers, music, a picnic supper and friends.
This limited ticketed event includes the following:
- U-Pick Flower Field Experience During the Golden Hour— Meander through the flower field during the golden hour and harvest your very own bouquet of fresh-cut flowers. Each ticket includes one Regular U-Pick Mason Jar. Fill a quart large-mouth mason jar with a generous amount of your choice of blooms, plus one Premium Bloom*. Includes jar. *Premium blooms include dahlias, lisianthus and sunflowers.
- Live music by singer-songwriter Zachary Scot Johnson — Nationally touring singer/ songwriter Zachary Scot Johnson has been performing nonstop since 2001, sharing the stage with talent that includes like Shawn Colvin, Keb' Mo', Marc Cohn, Shawn Mullins, Willy Porter, Kevin Costner and Modern West, Steve Poltz and others! He has released 4 cds and has a daily YouTube channel called thesongadayproject.
