A few important things to note:
- Each reservation requires a $25 deposit. This fee is NOT the price of the u-pick flowers. This fee holds your preferred time slot, and will be applied to your overall purchase of u-pick flowers at the end of your visit. PLEASE NOTE: Only ONE reservation is needed per group.
- In the "Notes" section of your reservation, please tell us how many people will be in your group, even if they don't intend to pick flowers. All guests visiting the cut-your-own flower field require a u-pick or no-pick pass. (See prices below.)

What to Bring:
- A CLEAN JAR OR BUCKET FOR TRANSPORT. We provide a container to use while cutting, as well as water and cutting shears, but please remember to bring another container to bring your flowers home. We have water to fill it with so your flowers stay hydrated on the journey. (If you forget, jars/buckets are available for purchase.)
- COMFORTABLE, "FARM APPROPRIATE" SHOES. We grow our flowers in the open field, which means you may encounter uneven ground or rocks, so please watch your step. (We also have free range chickens roaming around. Though friendly, they are curious creatures and may mistake an open toe in a sandal as a potential tasty treat that needs further investigation.)
- SUNSCREEN. Our Cut-Your-Own Flower Field is in full sun with little nearby shade.
FAQ
What if I'm not interested in cutting flowers? Can I just see the flower field?
While we appreciate the interest and inquiries to see the flower field, the flower field is reserved for our u-pick guests. We do not give tours of the flower field at this time. We are a working farm and this policy allows to remain committed to providing our customers with the very best experience possible, whether they are visiting the u-pick flower field, picking up fresh bouquets from the Petals to Go grab-n-go cooler, placing a delivery order or asking us to design the florals for their special event.
When is the cut-your-own flower field open?
The Cut-Your-Own flower field generally opens in mid July and blooms through September, weather permitting. Because we live in Door County, a late spring or an early fall frost may alter these dates slightly. Please check the website or follow us on Instagram and Facebook for the latest field updates.
How do I reserve a time to cut flowers?
To make reservation click on the "Reserve My Spot" button above or call 920-724-1180. A $25 deposit is required to reserve your time and will be applied toward your cut-your-own flower purchase. (Only one reservation is required per party.)
What if I need to cancel my reservation.
We kindly ask that all cancelations or changes to reservations be made no less than 24 hours before your scheduled reservation time. Deposits for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time or no-shows are non-refundable.
In the event your reservation needs to be cancelled due to field conditions or inclement weather, we will gladly reschedule your reservation or, if you prefer, cancel your reservation and provide you with a refund of your deposit.
What if I don't fill the jar or bucket? Can I pay for a partial jar or bucket?
Pricing is based on the container size, regardless of whether or not the customer chooses to fill it. Don't worry— you can always share the extra blooms with family and friends! We guarantee they'll be delighted!
Why are certain flowers considered premium blooms?
Some flower varieties are significantly more labor intensive and expensive to grow than others. That being said, we know our customers love the exquisite beauty of these flower field divas as much as we do, so we've created a cut-your-own option to help you get your fix of dahlias, lisianthus and other premium blooms.
What if I don't have time to cut flowers? Do you have flowers for sale in addition to the cut-your-own flower field?
Yes! Our Petals-to-Go self-serve bouquet cooler has been a staple of our business since 2018 and is open daily 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. We stock the grab and go bouquet cooler each day with fresh bouquets and arrangements, each designed using blooms harvested directly from the OneEighty Petals flower field. You can't find fresher flowers! If you are interested in larger quantities of flowers, we also offer DIY Buckets of Blooms.
Can we bring our dog along?
We love dogs, and have three of our own. However, if you do bring your dog along, we kindly ask that you let us know in advance and that all dogs remain on a leash and do not enter the flower rows. OneEighty Petals does not assume any responsibility or liability for dog-related injuries or incidents.
Are kids allowed to cut the flowers?
We love having children visit the cut-your-own field and the hands-on learning experience the flower field offers. Whether or not the child is responsible enough to use the cutting shears to cut the flowers is entirely up to the parents/guardians or person(s) responsible for the child. Please be aware that cutting shears are extremely sharp. For your own safety, please no running in the flower field. OneEighty Petals® does not assume any responsibility or liability for injuries incurred by guests who choose to participate in this agritourism activity. (Please see Wisconsin Act 269 below.)
